Terms of Service

1. General provisions

Draw the Card (the "Service") is operated by a private individual based in Poland (the "Operator").
The Service provides tarot readings generated using artificial intelligence, offered solely for entertainment and personal reflection.
By using the Service you accept these Terms.

Every tarot interpretation shown in the Service is generated automatically by an AI system and is for entertainment only.
Content generated by the Service does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other form of professional advice.
The Service does not claim or imply that tarot cards predict the future or influence events.
If you are going through emotional, health or personal difficulties, please speak to a qualified professional.

The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
The Service is not directed to children, and the Operator does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, write to postaw.karty@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
The Service is offered from Poland. If you use it from another country, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with the law that applies where you are.

The core features of the Service require no registration. Drawing a reading without an account is a one-off service and does not create an ongoing agreement.
Creating an account is optional and gives you access to additional spreads and the ability to save your reading history.
You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep your password confidential.
An account runs for an indefinite period. You may close it at any time, for any reason and at no cost, by sending a deletion request to postaw.karty@gmail.com. Accounts are deleted promptly and in no case later than 14 days after the request.
The Operator may remove any account that breaches these Terms.

To use the Service you need a device with an internet connection, a current web browser with JavaScript enabled and – only if you create an account – a working email address.
Signing in requires cookies to be enabled. Blocking them does not prevent you from drawing readings without an account, but it does disable everything that depends on being signed in.
The Operator does not guarantee that the Service works correctly in browsers no longer supported by their makers.

The data controller is the Operator of the Service. Contact: postaw.karty@gmail.com.
The Service collects: your email address and an optional display name (at registration), together with the text of the question you ask, the cards drawn and the interpretation produced. The last three are saved for every reading, including readings drawn without signing in.
The text of your question is sent to the provider of the AI model so that the interpretation can be written. The full scope, purposes and legal bases are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Data is stored on secured servers located within the European Union. If you are using the Service from outside the EU, your data is therefore transferred to and stored in the EU.
The Service does not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Passwords are stored in hashed form only and are not accessible to the Operator.
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data – to do so, contact postaw.karty@gmail.com.

You agree to use the Service in accordance with applicable law.
Submitting questions that are unlawful or abusive is prohibited.
Attempting to circumvent the security of the Service, or generating requests automatically, is prohibited.
The Operator may block access in the event of abuse.

The Service is entirely free of charge. Every spread, including the most detailed one, is available at no cost, and using it never requires payment details.
The Operator currently sells nothing through the Service. There are no subscriptions, no recurring payments, no micropayments and no content unlocked by paying. The Operator accepts no payments from users.
The Service is funded by the advertising displayed within it – see section 9.
The number of free readings is not capped. The Operator may apply technical limits on request frequency where these are necessary for the stability of the Service and protection against abuse; such limits are not a hidden charge.
The Operator reserves the right to introduce paid readings in the future. Doing so will not remove any feature that is free at the time of introduction, and every paid reading will be clearly marked with its price before you choose it.
Introducing paid readings requires these Terms to be amended in advance, under section 13, and supplemented with terms covering payment, delivery of digital content, the right of withdrawal and complaints.
The Service being free does not change its nature as described in section 2 – the interpretation remains entertainment and is not professional advice.

The Service may display advertising from third parties.
The Operator is not responsible for the content of ads, nor for the products and services they offer.
You can turn off personalized advertising from Google, across every site that uses it, at myadcenter.google.com. That does not remove ads from the Service – it stops them being selected for you.

The layout of the Service, its visual design, the card descriptions and other original material are protected by copyright and belong to the Operator.
A reading generated in answer to your question is for your personal use. You may save it, print it and share it, including through the sharing feature built into the Service.
The Operator claims no rights in the questions you write.

The Service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
The Operator is not liable for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content.
The Operator is not liable for interruptions caused by factors outside its control.

Complaints about how the Service works can be sent to postaw.karty@gmail.com.
A complaint should describe the problem and give the email address the reply should go to.
The Operator answers complaints promptly and in no case later than 14 days after receiving them.

The Operator may amend these Terms.
Account holders will be notified of amendments by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you may close your account within that period as described in section 4.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
